Malta Launch of Siemens Low Voltage Electrical Switchgear
hosted by AJ Electric – Westin Dragonara Hotel

 

Several delegates from Siemens Italy and UK, in collaboration with AJ Electric organised an exclusive event on the 5th of July at the Westin Hotel, in St Julian’s to announce the official distribution partnership between Siemens Italy and AJ Electric for Low Voltage Switchgear for the islands of Malta.

 

During this occasion, key speakers presented the various high-tech profiles of exclusive low voltage range of switchgear, namely SIVACOM, ALPHA and SENTRON all which are innovative and technologically advanced switchgear for the local market.

Considering the technical orientation of this occasion, guests in the audience included professional electrical engineers, project managers, electricians, and other interested parties.

The seminar started off with a brief overall introduction by Andrea Gattioni – Siemens Regional Manager where he gave a general overview of the electrical market as well as the mega trends in the electrical field.

He outlined how Global megatrends are changing our markets both structurally and profoundly. Changes are occurring in Urbanization, Demographics, Climate Change, Globalization and Digitalisation.

As a company, Siemens has responded to these changes by offering automation of electrical energy, energy efficiency and above all electrical safety.

Following this overview, Samuele Riva – Product Manager, gave an introduction about IEC switchboards and panels including the SIVACON and ALPHA Power Distribution boards including the SSC1 Miniature circuit breakers.

Andrea Manzini – Product Manager from Siemens Italy, also contributed to this event by giving an overview of SENTRON circuit protection devices, measuring devices and the SENTRON 3VA/3WA circuit breakers.
