Subsidiary Żrar Ltd leads the change in eco-friendly quarrying, producing high-quality aggregates while investing in advanced washing plant to researching and developing ways and means how to repurpose waste materials for plastering and other building materials.
In 2016, the group launched M-Stream Ltd., a joint venture focused on circular economy solutions. Specializing in exploring the international market to find receivers that recycle PET, glass, tyres and aluminium in a sustainable manner. M-Stream reduces landfill waste and champions Malta’s transition to sustainable resource management. Energy innovation is another cornerstone. Through ENV Energy Solutions Ltd., the group delivers turnkey projects in traditional and renewable energy sectors, aiding clients in reducing carbon footprints. ENV can also supply and install various plants for the treatment of wastewater, for municipal and various industrial applications as well as offer containerized solutions with the advantage of being cost effective, with lower installation time and costs and requiring no physical buildings.

RECENT MILESTONES
Recent years have seen transformative ventures, including the supply of equipment for the DRS Bottle Collection and PET sorting machines installed and commissioned in 2022, a glass sorting machine installed and commissioned in 2024 and an emergency 60MW power plant. Strategic acquisitions, such as tyre distributor Standard Tyres, bolster their transportation and consumables arm.
