The company’s story begins, in fact, much earlier than 2011. Founder Joseph Caruana had already built a name for himself in Malta’s aluminium sector. In the late 1990s, just before the island’s construction wave began to crest, Caruana launched what would eventually become Brand Aluminium, producing made-to-measure doors and windows with an eye for quality that set him apart. He often recalls those days in the workshop not with nostalgia, but as a proving ground: “We began with basic aluminium fittings, but from the outset, we required excellence that others normally overlooked.” That insistence on doing things properly laid the groundwork for Brand Projects, which would later transfer that same standard to larger, more complex builds
