Founded just two years ago in 2021, two friends Aleksandar Petrov (43) and Stoycho Ivanov (26) came together and founded Blinds4All Ltd, a company ready to provide your blinds, curtains, and insect netting needs in both Malta and Gozo, with an utter focus on complete customer happiness.
The partners previously worked at the same blinds company; Aleksandar being a manager, and Stoycho a seller. They bonded during their time together. And as time passed, Aleks and Stoycho picked up on many elements in the industry they were operating in which, they passionately felt, should never have been present. Most of all, Aleks was heavily overworked. This was until Aleks put his foot down and said ‘’I can do this myself’’.
Thus starting from the lower rungs of the business and climbing them with time, Aleks and Stoycho have learnt the ins and outs of the industry. Having recognising what needs to be done, they have garnered an intimate understanding of what needs to not. This is the fundamental principle behind what has enabled the two friends to run their very own reputable Blinds company and actively maintain a wide range of satisfied clientele.
Starting From the Bottom to the Top

Whilst not exactly being placed into the industry with a silver spoon in their mouth, their journey to the top proved to be effective in the long run, offering services that are simply unmatched.

Having worked in the blinds industry since the early 2000s, Aleks has personally noted that the interiors industry in Malta is laden with issues stemming from a lack of punctuality, dishonesty, and at times, he reckons, even dirty tricks. Indeed, he frowns upon a process of reaching out to a querying customer and dishing out approximate measurements, giving out-of-budget, unexplained prices.

As the two owners handle their own logistics as a team, punctuality isn’t something clients have to be worried about. In fact, the two shared that most clients are quite surprised when they stick to their word. Aleks is on-site at all times, handling all installations. With these installations, one can expect to be given professional advice which could easily improve the entire installation experience, and product excellence. ‘’We know our products are great, so we’re very service-oriented.’’ Stoycho shared.

Many factors must be considered when selecting which blinds to install, how to install them, and where to install them, most of which wouldn’t come so easily to the mind of an inexperienced customer. This is why Aleks and Stoycho make it a point to explain the whole process of the installation and the product variants to the client and give the best tips they can offer along the way, thus also allowing the client to make an informed final decision. The partners’ advice to their customers is unbiased and transparent, “allowing them to maximise on aesthetics, practicality, and convenience whilst sticking to budget,” Stoycho enthusiastically added. Customisations may also be implemented to help a client’s product fit like a glove. Aleks and Stoycho highlighted an element predominant within Malta’s properties: “several apertures in Malta are non-standard and cause quite a problem when installing blinds. When I do find a property’s apertures which are perfectly cut, I’m always pleasantly surprised’’ Aleks shared. They are at times asked to hide imperfections by adjusting an installation to accommodate its surrounding structure’s quirks: “highly difficult but not impossible,” Aleks says with a smile. In any case, Blinds4All works closely with the client to find the best option for them, take custom measurements that perfectly fit their apertures, and ultimately fulfil their wishes.
A Company Run by Two
Aleks makes it a point to be present during all of the company’s installations, and is involved on a day-to-day basis in the execution of installations himself. Since their very beginnings, Aleks and Stoycho have worked hard together and are quite happy with the team they have formed amongst themselves, and although things get gotten very, very busy for this dynamic duo, nothing is stopping them from appreciating what they have managed to achieve.

Blinds4All ensure to have their products directly imported from their shared origins: Bulgaria. “This ensures that all our products are EU certified ,and we are also in full control of the raw materials made use of during production,” Aleks proudly explained. “To this effect, most materials of the product come from South Korea, where materials tend to be long-lasting and incomparably protective against UV rays. Our manufacturing cannot be compared to that of a typical Chinese product,” he proudly noted.
Quality Blinds and an Exceptional Service to Diverse Clients
The company offers a wide range of warranty-covered blinds, curtains, and insect screens. Blinds4All is proud to have given their services to a wide range of customer types, “including those looking to have installations done on their apartments and homes, and other properties including entire property developments, government buildings, the University of Malta, studios, restaurants, and hotels, including the prestigious AX Hotel, B Hotel, and Marriott Hotel,” Stoycho said.

When asked to delve deeper into describing a commercial execution, Stoycho brought up their having set up aluminium-covered blinds for the pool area of B Hotel in order to withstand humidity and control heat. Additionally, Aleks shared that upon working with the Marriott Hotel, the two worked closely with the hotel’s interior designer, discussing their best options for the hotel. “Ultimately, the client is delighted with the end results,” he told us. ‘’Every client is important to us’’ he continued, explaining that all clients are treated equally, no matter the size of their order, and creating healthy customer relationships is of the utmost importance to them.

This principle has led them to rake in quite the number of returning clients, ‘’Many of our clients own a range of properties for which they call us to perform installations on – thanks to the quality of our services,’’ Soycho explained. One could also say that they’ve won the trust of many, ‘’I had one client order blinds for his daughter to test out our services. After, he called us to install all the blinds and curtains in his guest house’’ Aleks proudly shared.
Exploring the Horizon for Blinds4All
Having built such a successful company in such a relatively short amount of time, the two are constantly thinking of future plans, striving to reach the full potential of their company. As such, while Aleks and Stoycho are working on the continuous expansion of their company via market consolidation and expansion, Blinds4All is open to a vertical expansion of their service provisions to their residential and commercial customers alike, “at the right time”. Aleks and Stoycho are focused on constantly improving their flexibility, following the industry trends, and advancing their services.
