Key Highlights:

Increase in Number of Promise of Sales:

The total number of promise of sale agreements rose from 1,385 in April 2024 to 1,574 in April

2025, marking an increase of 189 agreements, or a 14% rise.

Increase in Revenue:

Revenue generated from these agreements surged from €415,295,353 in April 2024 to €551,387,491 in April 2025. This represents an impressive growth of €136,392,138, translating to a 33% increase.

Record-Breaking Month:

In terms of the value of promises of sale, April 2025 stands out as the best-performing month ever, with the exception of December 2021, when the COVID-related incentives reached their peak.

 

These figures underscore the continued resilience and attractiveness of Malta’s property sector, as well as its crucial rolein the broader economic landscape.
